Another National Webinar was held today under the Umbrella of “RAPID Technology Transfer Grant (RTTG)/ https://www.hec.gov.pk/english/services/RnD/RTTG/Pages/default.aspx” by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad in collaboration with International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB). This 2nd Webinar was entitled “Waste Management, Sewerage & Waste Water Treatment”. Among renowned Speakers included Dr. Nasir Javed (Founder Urban Unit, Saaf Pani Initiative, Team Lead for KPK Improvement Project for Water, Sanitation & Waste Management); Mr. Zamir Ul Hassan (GM Peshawar WASA Company), Mr. Zubair Channa, MD Sindh Solid Waste Management Board), Mr Tahir Mahmood (Waste Busters), Dr Fazli Wahid (University of Swabi, KP). Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum (Patron CCSC-IUB) highly appreciated honourable speakers for their great presentations/case studies from academia, research, industries, private partners and giving consents to cooperate/collaborate with the universities for RTTG-HEC initiative led by Mr. Omer Ghani from HEC, Islamabad. In final remarks, Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi (Focal Person CCSC/Director, ICCFS-IUB) admired Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob (TI), Patron-in-Chief/Vice Chancellor, CCSC-IUB, for support & encouragement all times to continue positive developments for the benefit of community.
