
The Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) and the International Growth Centre (IGC), in collaboration with the Agriculture Department, Government of the Punjab, hosted a closed-door workshop on Agenda Setting for “Agriculture and Climate Change” on 16th February 2026, at VC Lounge, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore. The focus of this workshop is to convene pertinent stakeholders to address the most pressing challenges of climate change on Pakistan’s agricultural landscape, and propose climate resilient and sustainable solutions. Prof Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Director, International Center for Climate Change, Food Security and Sustainability (ICCFS), participated as keynote speaker and propose the possible solutions to current challenges of climate change to agriculture sector and also the ways that academia can play its role especially from south part of Punjab-Pakistan.
