An International Workshop entitled “Contingency Planning on Heatwave Anticipatory Action” conducted at National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), Islamabad (on March 7-8, 2024) being organized by READY Pakistan & START NETWORK. This gathering includes more than 50 development/humanitarian organizations in the public & private sector that consist of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)-Islamabad, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) from Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, KPK Chapters. From Academia, Prof. Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Director, International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS) & Focal Person of Consortium on Climate Change, Sustainability & Conservation (CCSC), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB)/ https://ccsc.iub.edu.pk/ as National Invited Speaker & Subject Expert to talk on Climate Change, Food Security & other challenges that are being experienced by developed & developing nations including Pakistan. Furthermore, this was a great opportunity for networking, collaboration, cooperation and joint-venture opportunities with each other. At the end, a lot of appreciation for organizers (Ready Pakistan & Start Network) for providing a platform for great discussion with different stakeholders all around Pakistan & keep serving the community of beloved country, Pakistan.
