With reference to Letter No BZU/FAST/PHEC-CC/2026/12 dated June 10, 2026, National Project/Initiative Approved worth of PKRs 10 Million (distributed to 06 partner Universities) by Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) Cluster on Climate Change. At The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) the idea was to establish a capacity building center namely “Establishment of Climate Smart Agriculture Training Center". The Principal Investigator (PI) will be Prof Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Director, International Center for Climate Change, Food Security and Sustainability (ICCFS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Pakistan.
Furthermore, being PI of this project/initiative, Prof Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi, sincerely thanks to Prof. Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan (HI, SI), Chairperson PHEC. Lahore, Prof Dr Nazim Hussain, Lead Principal Investigator (PI).
