International Research Project entitled “Enhancing Climate Resilience in South Asia and China"

An International Research Project entitled “Enhancing Climate Resilience in South Asia and China: Predicting Precipitation Shifts and Their Impacts for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resource Security” has been approved by Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN)'s and details can be found from the link https://www.apn-gcr.org/project/enhancing-climate-resilience-in-south-asia-predicting-precipitation-shifts-and-their-impacts-for-disaster-risk-reduction-and-resource-security/. After the award, the first introductory meeting held to discuss the role and responsibilities of collaborating institutes/universities all around the world. Lot of thanks and support from Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi, Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Environment (FA&E), Prof. Dr Muhammad Aown Sammar Raza, Chairman, Department of Agronomy, Faculty (FA&E) for their encouragement towards practical collaboration around the globe. At the end, Being collaborator in this international research project, Prof. Dr. Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Professor, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture & Environment (FA&E) & Director, International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS) highly acknowledge & appreciate APN & lead principal investigator Dr. Dhiraj Pradhananga, Tribhuvan University & Small Earth Nepal & other collaborators around the world for such a great initiative that will definitely provide the opportunity for students/researchers/scientists/early career researchers of IUB (and surrounding) for capacity building, exposure to international trainings/workshops as well as learning to get benefit from it.
