An International Seminar on “Agrometeorological Education, Research & Advisory Services in Southeast Asia” organized by the Department of Agro-Meteorology, Faculty of Agriculture, BSMR Agriculture University, Dhaka, Bangladesh on November 26, 2024. Prof. Dr. GKM Mustafizur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nasimul Bari, Chair, Department of Agro-Meteorology, Faculty of Agriculture, Bangabandhuu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh (along with other dignities) pleased & welcome international scientists including Prof. Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Professor, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment (FA&E) & Director, International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB)-Pakistan. Prof. Dr. Madan Lall Shrestha, Academician, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology, Nepal & have great interaction/discussion with Prof. Dr Mirza Hasanuzzaman, Professor of Agronomy at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh to start new collaborative avenues on student/faculty exchange, some joint-ventures in the form of projects, conferences, seminars, workshops with The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Pakistan. These types of initiatives at international level will definitely contributes the recognition of IUB - Pakistan & BSMRAU Bangladesh as well as exposure to lot of research and education opportunities for students, researchers, scientists and faculty of different Institutes/Universities in broader spectrum, InshaAllah.
