An International Workshop on Climate & Crop Modeling, leaded by the Department of Agro-Meteorology, Faculty of Agriculture, BSMR Agriculture University, Dhaka, Bangladesh (November 22-26, 2024). BSMR Agriculture University, Dhaka, Bangladesh is the leading University in Bangladesh according to QS ranking in 2024 with international recognition etc. After the training, there were meetings with faculty members and Vice Chancellor of BSMR Agriculture University, Dhaka, Bangladesh and Prof. Dr Mirza Hasanuzzaman, Professor of Agronomy at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh to start new collaborative avenues on student/faculty exchange, some joint-ventures in the form of projects, conferences, seminars, workshops with The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Pakistan. Prof. Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Professor, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment (FA&E) & Director, International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), was invited as International Subject Expert from IUB-Pakistan. These types of initiatives at international level will definitely contributes the recognition of IUB at International level as well as exposure to lot of research and education opportunities for students and faculty of IUB-Pakistan.
