An International “Kick-off workshop on Climate Risk Assessments (CRA) for Punjab and KP” held at Best Western Hotel, Islamabad. The event was organized by International Organizations, the InsuResilience Solutions Fund (ISF), funded by the German government to support the development of innovative climate risk insurance products in developing and emerging economies. In this workshop, decision makers, experts and scholars from federal and sub-national level in KP and Punjab & international research institutions discuss state-of-the-art methodologies, models and data requirements for the climate risk assessments. Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob (T.I); Vice Chancellor & Patron-in-Chief CCSC/ICCFS-IUB highly appreciate the contribution and proactive efforts by Dr. Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Director, International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Pakistan at national & international level for making the efforts to seek close cooperation, engagements and possible collaborative initiatives possibly to be takes place soon at national & international level.
