National Webinar series under the umbrella of “RAPID Technology Transfer Grant (RTTG)/ https://www.hec.gov.pk/english/services/RnD/RTTG/Pages/default.aspx” by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad in collaboration with International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) organized 1st Webinar entitled “Sustainable Water Management/Precision Agricultural Technologies” on Tuesday 10 Jan 2023. Among renowned Speakers included Dr. Muhammad Masood Rafi, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi), Dr. Bashir Ahmad (Director, CEWRI, NARC, Islamabad); Dr. Muhammad Ashraf (Chairman, PCRWR, Islamabad); Dr. Yousaf Riaz (Director-Nano Bio Solutions Inc. Islamabad-https://waterman.pk/) Mr. Saleem Ranjha, Chairman Open Lahore, Founding Director NIC, Advisor NIC Pakistan). This was the first Webinar among Webinar Series of RRII by HEC given the responsibility to Academia and choose ICCFS-IUB from Pakistan. The further detail given in the poster. Furthermore, Engr. Prof. Dr Athar Mahboob (TI), Patron-in-Chief/Vice Chancellor, CCSC-IUB, Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum (Patron CCSC-IUB) highly appreciated the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad for giving IUB a leading role to organize webinars for all Universities in Pakistan & for continuous collaboration and creating opportunities for ICCFS-IUB. In concluding remarks, Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi (Focal Person CCSC/Director, ICCFS-IUB) thanked all honourable speakers for their great presentations/case studies from academia, research, industries, private partners and giving consents to cooperate/collaborate with the universities for RTTG-HEC initiative led by Mr. Omer Ghani from HEC, Islamabad.
