Punjab Higher Education Commission Initiative at Climate Change Centers in Pakistan

๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐ˆ๐ช๐ซ๐š๐ซ ๐€๐ก๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐Š๐ก๐š๐ง(๐‡๐ˆ,๐’๐ˆ) ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ข๐ซ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ฃ๐š๐› ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐‡๐„๐‚) chaired a meeting with Vice Chancellors from public sector universities across Punjab. The agenda of meeting on “Establishment of R&D Centers/ Clusters in Public and Private HEI in Punjab”. On the direction of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), the proposal of The International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS) were presented by Prof. Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Director, ICCFS-IUB.  Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha (Patron, CCSC), Dr Muhammad Abdullah (Director IUB Biodiversity Park), Mr Imran Hafeez (Directorate of Planning & Development) also participated in this meeting. Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan(HI,SI) Chairperson PHEC extended a warm welcome to all VCs and emphasized the importance of collective vision, collaboration, and feedback in shaping Punjab’s academic and research landscape. He also appreciate their suggestions, ideas, and strategies to strengthen research ecosystems and promote innovation-led growth in higher education.
