Day 01: It is great privilege to represent International Center for Climate Change, Food Security & Sustainability (ICCFS)-The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Pakistan (being member from Pakistan) to Annual Forum of Global Alliance for Climate Smart Agriculture (GACSA), Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity and Environment (OCB), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), being held at Viale delle Terme di Caracalla, 00153 Rome, Italy (4-5 May 2023). Today there was great interactive sessions of leading scientists/researchers/policy makers and other stakeholders (research, industries, private partners, youth representatives etc) to share the ideas, opportunities, challenges in the area of climate smart agriculture, adaptation and mitigation of climate change at global, regional, country & local/domestic level. In this forum, ICCFS-IUB is the ONLY “Member University” that is representing “Pakistan” in this forum of United Nations (UN) at global level. At the end, I must thank and appreciate honorable Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob (TI), Vice Chancellor, IUB for great support, excellent encouragement to collaborate, cooperate and develop joint-hands (in research etc) at national & international level.
