An international knowledge sharing workshop on “Evaluating the socioeconomic benefits of weather and climate services was organized by ICMOD-Nepal, Met Office-UK, Asia Regional Resilience to Changing Climate Program (ARRCC), University of Leeds, UK, Pakistan Meteorological Department, Islamabad and being hosted by MNS-University of Agriculture, Multan. The organizers invites IUB scientist (Dr Wajid Nasim Jatoi, Associate Professor, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture & Environment) as “Climate Scientist” to bring stakeholders together to obtain feedback on findings of study & agree recommendations for enhancing the agro-met advisories in Pakistan. This was excellent platform for national and international collaborative interaction to work together for the mitigation of climate change impacts on ecosystem, environment, health, agriculture to insecure food security at local, regional and international level.
